Why Symbolic Safety?

AI safety today is narrative-driven — reliant on human interpretation, post-facto enforcement, or compliance theater. But narrative decays.

What if safety wasn't a story, but a mathematically enforced gate?

OPHI’s answer is fossilization: permanent, cryptographically verifiable, entropy-bounded cognition. Every emission is tested — for coherence, entropy, and drift — before it fossilizes.
